Sonic Characters

Tails is a fox that has two tails, and is the sidekick of Sonic. He can use his two tails to launch himself into the air, similar to a helicopter. When Tails first came on the scene, he was kidnapped by the evil Robotnik and held for ransom. Since then, the high IQ and mechanically inclined Tails can read binary code to translate this information to Sonic.

Next of Sonic characters, Amy Rose is a pink hedgehog who dreams that she is Sonic's girlfriend. When she was introduced, Metal Sonic kidnapped her. Although she appeared in the game, she did not become playable until Sega introduced Sonic Drift, but it was not released outside of Japan. Therefore, you did not see her until Sonic Drift 2 came out. Her special skill is using her Piko Piko Hammer like no one's business.

Doctor Ivo Robotnik is better known as Doctor Eggman, or just Eggman. Being the primary evildoer in the series, he debuted in the first release of Sonic the Hedgehog, and was attempting to collect the Chaos Emeralds so he could turn the animals into robots. He claims that he is a genius of the highest caliber, boasting an IQ of 300. He is a renowned authority on robotics, but his goal is to conquer the world and create Eggmanland, his utopia full of robots that are readily available to do his bidding.

Knuckles is one of Sonic's adversaries, but he is friendlier than other Sonic characters. He lives on Angel Island, which hovers above ground, high in the sky because of the great power of the Master Emerald. Since Knuckles is the last member of the Echidna people, it is his duty to guard the Master Emerald. He has an exceptional skill in the martial arts, with the ability to shatter boulders, trap air under his dreads so he can glide and has amazing punching ability.

Vanilla the Rabbit is Cream the Rabbit's devoted mother.

Cheese the Chao is neutral and constantly accompanies Cream the Rabbit. It is discernable from other chaos by its red bowtie, and can attack for Cream by running into her enemies.

Cream the Rabbit is a tawny colored rabbit with humanlike features. Her Chao, Cheese, always accompanies her. She is a somewhat naïve character, because she was raised like a princess by her regal mother, Vanilla the Rabbit. She has excellent manners, but occasionally acts like a child. When she flaps her ears, she can fly for short distances.

Chaos is another Chao, except this one has been mutated by the Chaos Emeralds to be a sentinel for other Chaos; it also offers clean water to the altar surrounding the Master Emerald and like Knuckles, protects it. This particular Chao can stretch itself out or turn itself into liquid. Without any Chaos Emeralds, this Chao is nothing, but with each of the Chaos Emeralds it sucks up, it grows more powerful until it becomes Perfect Chaos when it has absorbed all 7 Emeralds.
